What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The workplace environment, colleagues, the pay isn't bad either. In my current role I also find it easy to maintain a good work-life balance.

Worst

Some meetings can drag on for longer than necessary, making the day less productive.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £27,000 - £29,000

Current salary: £29,000 - £31,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 08:45

Finish: 17:00

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Research the employer to decide if you are compatible/ they do work that interests you. Be patient with the process and make sure all the forms are filled in correctly. Highlight what you're interested in/ what skills make you suited for the role.

Do you have any interview tips?

Prepare for it by familiarising yourself with who the company are and what they do, plus the role you have applied for. Answer honestly and demonstrate how you can fit into the team. Practice with someone if possible- e.g. mock interview. Stay calm during the interview, pause if you need to think, repeating the question back to yourself if necessary, admit if you don't have knowledge of something, whilst highlighting your willingness to learn from and work with others once in the role. Don't assume you will automatically get the job; so be confident, yet humble.
