What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
interesting projects, great colleagues and the out-of-office experience (sports and social)
Worst
The hours can get long when tied into a project with a tight deadline or last minute changes. Mostly avoidable and senior staff will mostly discourage this but sometimes you feel obliged none-the-less.

Starting salary: £27,000 - £29,000
Current salary: £31,000 - £33,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
really demonstrate your interest in the role and try to relate as much experience as possible to the work you hope to be doing
Do you have any interview tips?
They tend to really value team dynamics so being friendly and conversational will go a long way. On the technical questions, just answer as far as you can and tease out anything you think might be important to consider and any assumptions you make. Always try to point out any health and safety concerns with what you are discussing and connected impacts (if we use a culvert under a road, it could flood and make navigation difficult and or back up flooding other land/infrastructure)
