What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

Capgemini overall has been such an incredible place for my development. I have progressed very quickly, with 2 promotions within 2 years being on the graduate programme and I put that down to all the amazing support I have received from incredible professionals within the Organisation.

Capgemini has been fundamental in my growth and confidence all around. I now feel I can go into any role and perform regardless of experience. I believe this confidence is down to the various roles I have performed, ranging from technical and business roles and the incredible mentors I have had. I have 5 mentors with different experiences who I regularly have catch-up sessions with. My mentors ensure I am happy and progressing in alignment with my competencies and objectives.

The work life/balance is amazing backed up with many giving back opportunities and a great graduate community which all graduates meet up during socials. As a giving back example, I have joined an initiative in leading a group of graduates in organising and arranging various events such as careers fair events at my old University which has been such an amazing experience and well recognised within Capgemini.

In summary, Capgemini provides such an amazing platform for anyone determined to succeed with their career choice, backed up by the challenging opportunities, amazing support and networks.

Worst

I don't have any negative points. I love Capgemini, the people, the roles, the flexibility, work life balance, career progression.

I would say that as Capgemini is a top consulting firm you have to be flexible and open to traveling as your Clients could be anywhere. Yes, it is possible to be working with Clients more local to you, however, I think you would miss incredible opportunities and not maximise your experience with this mind-set.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £27,000 - £29,000

Current salary: £35,000 - £37,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Capgemini is very much focused on the 7 core values. Understand them and how do you think you would demonstrate them through experiences and in scenarios. The application has changed since I joined and is now updated to include a digital interview. My advice is to spend enough time doing your research during each stage of the process.

Do you have any interview tips?

Know your own strengths and weaknesses and ensure you demonstrate your strengths using great examples. Capgemini has an amazing culture with a diverse range of people from different backgrounds so ensure you be yourself and let your personality shine through.
