What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
If you have a hobby that involves cars (especially working on them) be sure to mention it if possible. Take time to think of who it is appropriate to go to with issues when completing any compatibility tests, remember that line managers are busy and do not need to be involved in every little issue.

I was very clear that I had practical skills with vehicles and demonstrated familiarity with vehicle systems. Overall just remain as calm as possible, I found that all the interviewers were very accommodating.
