Emphasise your enthusiasm for engineering, be flexible in terms of location and work, be a good communicator (both written and verbal)
Do you have any interview tips?
I had to give a presentation on a topic of my choice. You will be told whom your interviewer is so it is best to cater to their interests and this can lead to a good discussion in the interview. Also basic competency based questions were asked in addition to simple questions like 'why choose a career in engineering?' and 'what are your influences?'. I also had a short written exercise regarding a feasibility study for a fictional wind farm to demonstrate your problem solving and written communication skills.
