What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
Ability to approach anyone regardless of position.
The attitude of colleagues I work with day to day.
Rotational opportunities to learn more about the company.
Opportunities for leadership development (Engineering Leadership Development Programme and Advanced Technical Leadership Development Programme).
Challenging nature of the work.
Being empowered to make crucial decisions.
Worst
Large programmes can feel endless.
Having to need a Work Package to charge your time to (or lack of sometimes).
On-boarding process to the company and programmes needs a refresh.
Dealing with IT!
Limited international travel and no international rotation opportunities.
Lack of community outside of the office.

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Show that you are knowledgeable about what the company does in the UK. We are most well known for our military aircraft but there is so much more that we do. Having a passion for the wider scope of our work will go a long way.
