What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The people are all exceptionally kind and willing to help you.
The work is challenging and you are trusted with live and important work meaning that you are not just working under someone else.
You are given your own projects.
The firm is growing so it is a perfect place for ambitious people.
They invest a lot into you in training e.g. Masters, RICS, etc.
The grad scheme is very social and meets up once a month minimum for drinks.
A very charitable company with many initiatives for charities around developments.

Worst

Not being in centralised city offices.

Starting salary: £23,000 - £25,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Be clear on what the firm does, why it is different to other developers, what the focus of the firm is and look around a development if possible to get a feel for our customer focus.
Be clear on what drives you and focuses you.

Do you have any interview tips?

- Know the firm and the difference between Partnerships and Housebuilding and their focus.
- Know about housebuilding conditions in the market.
- Have an understanding of the Process from acquiring Land to Disposal of Homes.
- Be kind, smile and relax, be yourself as it's as much about your drive and personality as what you say.
- Make sure you have strong teamworking and leadership skills.
