The opportunities available, which AW are keen to get us as graduates involved in. I feel really valued.

Working from home has been a challenge for us all- especially when joining a new company and haven't yet got all the connections you may need.

Starting salary: £27,000 - £29,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Be yourself! Anglian Water is a large company, which both has space for and values a wide range of skills and personality types. If you are successful, then it will pay dividends as you are put into a role you will hopefully enjoy for your first placement.

Also, read some company documents found on the website. It can't hurt to know about the company you're joining and the different projects going on that you can get involved with.

Do you have any interview tips?

Come with questions about the business, so you can decide whether AW is the right place for you.

As for the interviews themselves, mine was strengths-based and referenced a personality type questionnaire I had completed prior to the interview day. This made it relatively easy to get comfortable and show why I thought I was the right person to hire.
