What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

Rotating around the business gives you an amazing opportunity to understand how all the different areas of the business function and how they are interlinked.
The work you do is genuinely important to the business and you are given side projects of high priority for the company.
You also have access to senior personnel within the business from early on so get a chance to make a good impression and a strong network.

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

An application should be tailored to the company after research has been done. Keep the cv short and use the covering letter and application questions to show you understand the company and the values of the company.

Be honest. The very nature of a graduate scheme is that no candidate will be perfect but HL are looking for people who understand this, and areas they need to develop on, as this is a sign of someone who is keen to work and improve.
