What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Online Application: Take your time and be as honest as possible. If you are turned down at this stage it's because you either don't fit the personality profile of the company or because you don't meet the requirements.

Phone Interview: Was very straightforward, took around 30 minutes and had an answer saying I'd passed 2 hours later. Make sure you know about the Systems Development Lifecycle and can talk about things you have done in a given context (situation where you showed leadership, etc..)

Assessment Day: Split into four parts: Written test, Face-to-Face Interview, Role Play, Group Scenario.

Written test is straightforward. Verbal reasoning for Technology stream, Verbal and Numerical reasoning for Manangement Consulting stream.

Face-to-Face interview: Similar advice to the telephone interview. Be yourself and make sure you have examples to show off your personality and roundedness

Role Play (one-on-one): Varies from year to year, you are given the topic in advance for the tech stream and on the day for the management consulting stream. If on tech stream, make sure you prepare thoroughly and bring a 'wow factor'.

Group role play: Don't dominate the conversation, it's tempting to steal the spotlight but they want to see you working together and being 'collaborative'.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be honest, show integrity and collaborative spirit, be passionate about the area of technology that interests you, have an understanding of some of their key projects within the Business Unit you are applying for. If possible through internet research, show them how you want to bring 'value added'.
