What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be prepared that recruitment at Hays is not a paper pushing HR job. You need to be able to pick up the phone every day and sell your candidates and develop new business with clients that may be cold to begin with.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be outgoing, even if you are not naturally so. A lot of great recruitment consultants are natural introverts but you need to be able to convince the internal recruiter that you have the spark to spot sales opportunities and hold your own in client calls and meetings.
