The people I work with - Honestly the people I work with make the job so much better. Everyone is so kind and genuine, and its so easy to get on with them.

Worst

Quartile year ends - These times can be a bit stressful as there is a lot of pressure to get work over the line. However, it is part of the job and helps you appreciate the time outside of this.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £27,000 - £29,000

Current salary: £29,000 - £31,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 08:30

Finish: 16:30

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

I had no experience in tax prior to applying. As long as you can show you have a good work ethic your 50% of the way there to getting an interview.

Do you have any interview tips?

Just be yourself, smile and make good eye contact. It is more important to Menzies that they hire someone who will fit in well and has a good attitude than if they have a plethora of qualifications.
