What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
The working environment is challenging, fun, highly rewarding and can be quite fast paced.
Worst
The hours extend beyond the 09:00 to 17:00. There may be some elements of working night shifts, this was certainly true for the majority of Graduate Engineers.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £27,000 - £29,000
Current salary: £35,000 - £37,000

Start: 08:00
Finish: 17:00
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be proactive with the application especially when writing the cover letter; for example, part of my cover letter was based around where the industry was heading (the use of technology, BIM in construction).
Do you have any interview tips?
Know the job role and what the progression routes are prior to the interview. This will give the candidate a better understanding and should prepare them when asked 'why he/she should be picked for the role' and 'where do they see themselves in the future'.
