What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

A lot of responsibility given, very self-driven and flexible culture. Lots of training opportunities and competitive salary for this early point in my career. Ability to undertake lots of different roles if wished.

Worst

If you're not in London it can be extremely lonely due to remote working/client sites, and not much opportunity to meet people or socialise in or out of work (as a grad, in my experience). Sometimes exacerbated by limited support from managers when booked to an account as they are too busy for graduates or for things like introductions, onboarding.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £25,000 - £27,000

Current salary: £31,000 - £33,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 09:00

Finish: 17:00

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Read the questions provided carefully (if relevant) and begin by wireframing your answer rather than diving in - since there will probably be a word count it's important to lay out individual headings that address each part of each question, and then put the rest of the text in afterwards.

Do you have any interview tips?

Make sure you research on questions often asked at interviews and create a spreadsheet of "STAR" examples - situation unfolding, task required, action taken, result seen. Do your best to memorise this and you can easily answer questions such as "tell me about a time when you failed to meet expectations" or similar. Have similar examples for relevant hard and soft skills.
