What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Wide variation of work as you will be testing all different sorts of solutions across a variety of industries. Huge opportunity to learn technical skills such as automation and programming. Training is encouraged and you will be allowed time and budget for it. Very satisfying work for people with a detail oriented, problem solving skill set.
Testing has the potential to be very high pressure as the client is relying on the quality assessment you are providing, with potential serious consequences if defects are missed. There is also a natural potential for tension as you are pointing out mistakes that people have made. Good communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude are definitely needed, as well as strong attention to detail.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £27,000 - £29,000
Current salary: £29,000 - £31,000
