What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The fact I am getting a full time work salary while completing a degree.

Worst

I kind of knew before going into an apprenticeship the stress what goes with it. As you will work and then have to complete your university assignments on top of it. But it is good to talk about what your struggling with your colleagues as you will be able to adapt or change certain aspects to help.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £19,000 - £21,000

Current salary: £19,000 - £21,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Your CV should be different for each job you apply for - I was taught at school that your CV should never be the same for different jobs. You can always take something from the job description or specification and add it to your CV. As well consider the layout, you do not want it to be to overwhelming for the person reading it, so I would stick to 2 pages maximum. Especially someone my age will probably not have a lot of experience so I linked the skills and activities in the description of the job, to activities I had in my part time job.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be confident - I was relatively lucky I feel to get this, as this was my last apprenticeship I was interviewed for. In one situation when applying for a similar role at Savills, I passed the initial CV and over the phone interview. But when I got to the final 10 which was like a small assessment centre day. The feedback I received was I did not put myself across enough on the day. I know its difficult from experience and I have struggled with this. But the more times you do it the more confident you will get.
