What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
The best thing is working with people form all over the country, also still having the college/uni life style when i travel down to study. All of my colleagues are lovely and very supportive in helping and training me. The management within the supply chain and the rest of Bakkavor are very supportive and will always help is needed .
Worst
The job role i am in now can put you into high pressure situations where critical thinking is crucial to get through it. There can also be a lot of controversy within production staff and planning staff.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £17,000 - £19,000
Current salary: £17,000 - £19,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
I think this is a great course for someone with past experience in the food industry, you need to be able to do quick maths and be able to work with new people daily.
Do you have any interview tips?
I was asked questions such as, if I had any past experience, do i know any history on the company, what i have done previously, something i was proud of and if i had any role models.
