What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

I have progressive responsibility and have a variety of work.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £23,000 - £25,000

Current salary: £23,000 - £25,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 08:30

Finish: 17:45

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

My advice would be to make sure you demonstrate how you are different and let your personality come across. I have a non-cognate degree (History) which demonstrates you do not need to have a 'construction' related degree. Record your experience and skills that make you a perfect candidate for the Countryside properties as well as the role!

Do you have any interview tips?

My assessment centre consisted of four activities: a group presentation, a team-working exercise and two others which I can't remember! Just be yourself and show how you can work well within a team.

I then had an interview with the Development director a week or so later at my potential new office.

I would advise to know the projects that Countryside currently have on and if you are looking to go into a particular area, explain your motivations for doing so and perhaps go into detail on a particular part that you find interesting.
