What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Do adequate preparation - know the work that the division you're applying for does and have a good idea of what other teams in the division do as well. The psychometric tests which took place before the interview are not too difficult but require quick thinking and good concentration so be properly refreshed on the day. The presentation you need to give is a choice between a general topic relevant to the division (the given topic for me was 'challenges facing the transport sector') or something personal (I gave mine on my final year project).

There is nothing too difficult. One question I was asked was 'outline the various systems (mechanical, electrical, public safety and fire) which should be present in a railway station in case of an emergency. Another was 'how would you adapt renewable energy sources to be compatible with a railway system'.
