What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
The development of my knowledge and ability to perform, I have learnt so much more than I would have expected in the last 6 months. The opportunity to enhance my knowledge base in endless ways and the training and structure of the graduate program really adds to this.
Worst
Sometimes some of the work can be quite analytical and not very varied but this only lasts for short periods.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £25,000 - £27,000
Current salary: £25,000 - £27,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be honest and give examples of when you have used key skills you believe are important in our industry. Tell whoever is reading your applications why they would want to work with you. Express some of your interests, hobbies and experiences. Although academia is important you must have a healthy balance.
Do you have any interview tips?
Make sure whilst also demonstrating you can complete tasks effectively that you have a strong understanding of the importance of working in a team. Ultimately you will be working in a team for most of your career and collaboration between peers and building strong relationships is just as important as exemplifying your knowledge in the sector.
