What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Always demonstrate how you can add value to the company in your application. e.g. If it asks you to describe a time when you worked in a team, it's really asking how you worked with the people in that team, how you over came problems, what was your role and how did this affect the out come. At the end of the answer, tie this into JLR core values and how the company would benefit you from working this way.

Do you have any interview tips?

Curricular ability isn't important. What is important is being able to demonstrate how you can transfer the skills you gained in university to the role you are applying for.

You need to show how university developed you as a person and why JLR should hire you based on that.

They don't really care about you being particularly good at english or maths or science or whatever as they will train you to do your job anyway.

They just want a demonstration of the type of person that you are and the values that you hold (i.e. a willingness to learn, ability to apply yourself, adaptability etc etc).

The rest in terms of skills will be added later.
