Historically well-rated by their staff, Newton Europe is also one of our top 50 most improved companies by graduate ratings this year, achieving truly exceptional scores for colleagues (4.84) and management (4.75). However, the company has a little way to go to improve their ratings for ethics (3.5) and work-life balance (3.5), although it still takes first place in the Top 10 Consulting Companies to Work For in 2015/2016!

The best and worst things about working for Newton Europe include;

‘The people. The culture that is upheld in Newton is one of openness, challenge, and energy. Every day on site I am challenged intellectually by some of the brightest people that I’ve ever met, ensuring that the work we do is of the highest standard possible. We work hard, but everyone is absolutely engaged all the time. Taking people through change is difficult. Our job involves implementing dramatic change programmes which challenge the way they may have worked for many years. This is difficult as we often need to try and persuade people to do things that either they don’t want to do, or don’t think they can do.’

‘Working with exceptional colleagues on a wide range of projects spanning different sectors. Rapid personal development in terms of both responsibilities and skills with an extensive mentoring structure. Being away from home Monday to Friday every week can be a bit straining. However, Newton puts time and effort in ensuring you have a healthy work life balance and you never work weekends.’
