The people - working with like minded outgoing intelligent people who are driven and ambitious, honestly there is nowhere else like it.
The Culture - teamwork, whole company meetups every other week; no work at weekends ever.
The reward - it's "work hard play hard", but there is huge amounts of job satisfaction, recognition in pay and from management and incredibly fast progression, even for a consultancy.

Working with some amazing people in areas that genuinely drive change in some very challenging areas. As we as taking on real responsibility and having a real focus on career progression and development.

The culture is really unique and hard to describe succinctly: huge team culture, no blame culture, really focused on the wellbeing of their people and making sure everyone is being developed for promotion. The online tests are hard as far as those sorts of tests go, make sure you do practise beforehand!
At the selection day, you're not competing with anyone, if all the candidates are good they will all get through to the afternoon. Work as a team when required and don't try and stand out at others expense.
Interview Advice:
Be yourself! Newton is looking for people with a specific set of values and motivations. If you're the right fit and up to the standards they require you'll get an offer.
If you try and act differently to fit what you think they're looking for you're unlikely to fool the interviewers, and if you do, won't enjoy the job if you get in.

After the initial testing, the interview process has a lot of face-to-face elements. You'll also have the opportunity to meet some of your potential future colleagues. If you enjoy the assessment centre and the interviews then it's very likely that you'll enjoy the job. If you think that what you do, particularly in the role plays, isn't quite your cup of tea then perhaps this isn't the place for you.
Similarly, if you get along well with the people you meet through the process then you're going to like all of us. Those are going to be the people you'll be spending your working days and free evenings on site with.

The culture and the work that we do.
Having founders of the company at ease in speaking to people that have just joined is really powerful. The work that Newton does also has a real impact in improving the world we live in.
Worst:
Sometimes the work in Head Office when on the rotational scheme can feel a bit bitty - as the rotations are only 3 months long you don't get the chance to take on real responsibility sometimes and this can be slightly demotivating.
Having said that, it's only happened once or twice and when I've mentioned it there has always been a positive response.

The Culture - teamwork, whole company meet ups every other week; no work at weekends ever
The reward - its "work hard play hard", but there is huge amounts of job satisfaction, recognition in pay and from management and incredibly fast progression, even for a consultancy
Worst:
The travel - away from home Monday-Friday, that being said, we never work weekends
The hours can be tough at times, but this can make it more rewarding when you finally crack a difficult problem or persuade a tough client

It's an exciting company to work for - you can take on so much responsibility so early on, you drive your own development at the pace that you want, we're constantly changing and working on new things so there's no time to be bored.
Our culture makes us challenge, support and drive each other and we get to know each other properly - on site during work and in the evenings and off site at our fortnightly conferences, company weekends away and parties.
