Review summary

“Real responsibility from day one”; this is a common refrain when looking at the reviews of Procter & Gamble, with one graduate explaining: “At P&G, I’ve been given responsibility right from the get go”. With so many employees pointing enthusiastically to this facet of working at P&G, it is easy to see why the company achieved an impressive rating of 4.7/5 for Responsibility. Graduates also praise the interesting work environment and “definite career prospects”, with many claiming that “you are always learning and developing”. One reviewer sums it up enthusiastically: “I’ve learnt more in the first four months at the company than I did in four years at university, and by the looks of things I’ll never stop learning”, a fact which contributes to P&G’s rating of 4.3/5 for Enjoyable/Challenging Work. At P&G, options for graduates abound. The “excellent growth opportunities” allow employees to “learn a huge amount and develop quickly”. Graduates are “encouraged to find training courses which will aid development and bridge the gap between education and industry”, which goes some way in explaining P&G’s ratings of 4.3/5 for Support and 4.2/5 for Training Provision. On top of all this, graduates at P&G get the chance to “work with motivated people who like their jobs”, a factor cited by more than just a few employees.
