What are the best and worst things about your company?
Straight away you are given lots of responsibility and are given the chance to lead on important, interesting projects. This responsibility does mean that you cannot just hide behind doing what you're told. You need to be able to prioritise your own work and take responsibility for seeing your own projects through. Whilst this is not at all a bad thing, it does come with more stress than a job where you can just pass the buck onto your line manager.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
I enjoy working in different places and with new people each week, seeing them gain confidence in their own abilities after spending time teaching them. The role provides plenty of challenges and variety, so my skills and confidence are always developing and there's no chance of ever getting bored at work. As well as having a career with good prospects for development, the hard work is rewarded with employee benefits package that is just on another level compared to every other company I've worked for, fantastic. I don't think there are any negatives as long as you know what you're signing up for from the start. For new staff I think the non-traditional office culture might come as a bit of a surprise (such as not knocking on meeting room doors, just going in and speaking to who you need) but you can see it works well once you get used to it.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
The people are all absolutely fantastic and the culture is amazing for both personal and professional development. When faced with something new or if you are struggling with something, the convention is to shout to the room at large for help, at which point someone will take the time to provide any explanation/advice/suggestion/comments etc. that you require. When starting, I required help often and everybody has been patient, thorough and overall, excellent teachers. The only exception to this was the morning after the Christmas Party when heads were a little tender!Every now and again something can go wrong outside of work hours which can result in an out of hours conference call. While this is annoying at the time, it does highlight how seriously important and fulfilling the work we do is: downtime is not an option when access to a patient's record could literally be the difference between life and death.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
The flat hierarchy in the company means there are no managers or heads of teams and each department works together to maintain and improve the team and the work we do.The best way to learn in this job is to get stuck in. As a new starter this can feel a little overwhelming but it's important to remember that it is up to each individual to decide what responsibilities to take on and how quickly.
