What are the best and worst things about your company?
Large amount of responsibility from the start - opportunity to lead big impact projects/budgets and make a difference. Strong support network: buddy, mentor, line manager, scheme specific steering team etc. Access to senior figures in the business and colleagues approachable/happy to help.Early starts/late finishes when managing contractors, although time can be claimed back in lieu. Flexibility on location - you will likely move between manufacturing sites during the scheme.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
The culture at Mars is really focused on building relationships and working together to drive project success. Because of this type of culture, you always have support from your colleagues, managers and mentors. Because Mars is a global company there are occasions when decisions can take some time to be made and this can be frustrating when you want to move quickly on a project.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
Real responsibility for a buying area. Collaborative relationship with suppliers. Bringing the outside knowledge in. Negotiating prices. Partnering with other departments. Wider perspective thinking. Access to senior leaders. Opportunity to drive change. Supportive environment. Opportunity to travel. (I have been to Holland, Belgium, Germany, Russia, Portugal, the Netherlands on numerous occasions.) Far outside London.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
The people - everyone is extremely helpful and friendly, creating a great work environment where you look forward to going to work. Mars also puts a huge amount of focus on every employees development, providing opportunities for development and career progression. As a large multinational company (which comes with lots of brilliant opportunities) it can sometimes take longer than smaller companies to enact change.
