What are the best and worst things about your company?
Great colleagues; Strong strategic focus providing very interesting assignments; Global reach: working in an international environment with often multinational companies.Due to small firm size less optionality regarding projects; Brand value of the job as some may not know Marakon - even though those who do have always, in my experience, appreciated the company a lot.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
Marakon has a real focus on corporate strategy projects, which is hard to get in the industry these days as most firms have diversified. You get responsibility early - you can expect to be working directly with senior colleagues and clients from the off, which is the best way to develop. As a smaller firm there isn't the same level of project diversity at a large firm.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
Very bright colleagues means constantly challenging discussions (both work and non-work) Early exposure to high-level clients and an industry-leading client list Almost no implementation / procress work - strategy work really does dominate Very flat heirarchy so long as you have something valuable to contribute Individual career development paths - no sense of 'up or out' culture Due to our size, you get to know everyone in the office / firm very quickly; likely to work with everyone in the office within the first year Working model is very flexible (e.g., working from home, blocking off evenings) - no face time culture Generous compensation and travel / social perksWorst things are associated with our size: - Feast or famine flow of work means the office is often either working flat out or rather quiet - Don't have the same back office resources of bigger firms (e.g.research, graphics, HR departments). This can be a plus as it leads to a greater variety of work and from a very junior level, ownership of firm building activities - Office culture varies depending on a few people in each office

What are the best and worst things about your company?
Great people, interesting projects, highly meritocratic.Though we work across broad sectors, our small size means choice of projects is relatively limited at a given point in time. Hours can be antisocial, but that's the nature of this industry.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
Work with our clients on their most pressing business issues, which makes for really interesting projects. Work directly with senior clients and colleagues from day 1 - the management are willing to give you responsibility early and will challenge you to take more. Strong culture of coaching, which helps accelerate development. The culture of the firm isn't the friendliest or most sociable.
