People are helpful when information is required.Performance Management does not work. Lack of interesting projects - many new starters are used as staff augmentation, which is not what we signed up to do. No structured development scheme/graduate scheme. Culture is dwindling. Poor pay increases.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
The people are all fantastic. Work with a huge variety of intelligent, hard-working and interesting people which makes all the difference. There is a true sense of community within the firm and it feels that everyone looks out for each other and has each other's best interests at heart. There is a big emphasis on personal development and training but it is also very flexible - support is there if you want it. Opportunity to take on huge responsibility and if you have an idea internally, you are generally allowed to run with it. Variety of clients and projects without being pigeon-holed into one speciality. However, if you have an interest in a particular area you can specialise early. Flexibility in projects, and most of the time (within reason) the business listens to personal requests regarding projects- very different to other consultancies I've heard about! Very IT focused, although this is changing recently. When I joined I didn't anticipate quite so much IT focus. Mostly work in smaller teams and occasionally lone roles. While this means you get great experience straight away it can also be daunting.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
The support they provide outside of day-to-day work (career managers, people team catch ups, support for personal issues, etc.).The recent US takeover has caused chaos internally so it feels like everything is a constantly moving target - we've lost autonomy and feel controlled by their decisions.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
The People. They're fun, they're intelligent and they care about developing each other. It's a great team environment. The opportunity to progress. Everyone is treated as an individual and will progress at their own rate. A lot of time and effort is put into making sure people get promoted at the right time. Our work is cool! We work with big clients and help them solve interesting problems. The work life balance. You can be flexible with when it suits you to work and from where. You have a life! You don't work crazy hours. You get the job done.We merged with a US company and they hold us back from reaching our full quirky potential.
