Application Advice: Candidates should focus on what they can offer to the firm. GE are looking for like minded people who will add value and not just complete their training and then leave.
Interview Advice: Demonstrating good technical knowledge is important but what happens in theory and in practice is very different and GE won't expect candidates to be experts. Most applicants will come across similar on paper and so the interview provides candidates with a chance to differentiate themselves from the rest. Candidates should think about their interests, strengths and weakness as ultimately the purpose of the interview is to allow the firm to get to know candidates and determine if they will fit in well.
