Application Advice: If you don't have experience, do a free course online or a mini project to show your enthusiasm.

Interview Advice: If you don't know an answer or are unable to complete a given task don't say you don't know or that you are unable to do it, but say what you do know and what you are able to do even if it isn't exactly (or nothing like) what they asked for. This at least shows that you know and are capable of doing something and perhaps what you bring might be better than what they were looking for. Plus, there's a thin line between being desperate and eager in an interview and that line lies in your positivity. When you really want a job you're willing to do anything to get it, what you need to show is that you're happy to do it.
